This is probably the first time I’ve walked down a beach near The Pacific on Christmas day. Yeah, I feel pretty sure about that.
The fella closest to the waves would be me.
It is in fact Christmas eve, and the family back home are sitting down and corroding away the Christmas dinner. I on the other hand, have a six hour long journey ahead of me with public transport. Heading north.
14 degrees celcius and a clear sky- yes, it certainly feels like the day before christmas.
It’s 3 AM in D.C., and it’s time to get up.
Who knew, mostly everyone survived the whole shebang. And they did it in true style.
All the Smithsonian museums are closed, only the underground metro is going, all stores closed, and empty streets.
Two feet of snow in about 24 hours, the worst snowfall in D.C. since the 1930′s.
Lovely!
Good morning, D.C.
16th of December. Salvation.
